Battery Collection

Thank you to all who have sent in used and old batteries for our collection contest.  We will be accepting them up until May 29th.  As to date we now have 3,198 batteries.  I believe we are in the lead!  The students and I would like to send an extra big thank you to the Teall family who have sent in the majority of the batteries.  Keep them coming!

Hillman Marsh Field Trip

Unfortunately, due to the amount of rain we've had in the past couple of weeks, we have to postpone our trip to Hillman Marsh.  The new date for our field trip will be Wednesday June 4th. If you would like to accompany us, all are welcome.  Due to the limited seating on the bus, you will need to have your own transportation. Please write in your child's agenda to let us know if you will be joining us.

Book Fair

We will be visiting the book fair as a class on Tuesday May 27 at 10:05.  Please be sure to send money with your child if you would like for them to take advantage of the great deals that will be there.

Battery Collection

TVA is having an old / used battery collection.  If you have any used or old batteries that need to be disposed of, please send them to school.  There is a contest for the class that brings in the most.  The contest has been going on for a few weeks now and we have a good amount of batteries already.  We are looking forward to being the winning class.  The prize for the most batteries is a Freezie Day!  We have until May 30th to bring the batteries in.  Let's all pitch in to do our part in helping save our planet.

Mme Lussier's absence

Mme Lussier is on medical leave and will be returning on June 10th.  I would like to take the time to thank all the students and parents who have been so kind and patient with me during this transition.  I am honoured and look forward to teaching your wonderful children for the next few months.  Please, if you have any concerns or questions do not hesitate to contact me.  Together we are better!

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Hello Vista Families,
