Dear Parents,
This is going to be a fabulous year for your
child in grade 2! We have so many exciting things to learn and experience
this year. The first few weeks we'll be busy learning the classroom
routines and meeting new teachers and friends!
I would like to keep you updated on special
classroom events, interactive websites, classroom newsletters, homework
calendars, pictures and other updates using this blog. I am also able to
provide you with a hardcopy of the information (newsletters and homework
calendars) by sending it to you in your child's agenda (which I will
consider our main form of communication, unless you tell me otherwise). Please
sign or initial your child's agenda daily and I will do the same when checking
for notes from home. Everyday we will have an agenda message regarding upcoming
classroom events, important information or comment about what your child
is learning at school.
If you would like to be kept updates on blog
information you can get new postings sent to your email directly from our
classroom blog. Therefore, whenever an update is posted to the blog with news
or upcoming activities an email will be sent to you within 24 hours, with the
update and the latest information. All you need to do is type in your email
address in the top right hand corner of the blog under "Follow By
Email" section and press submit. It's easy and it's FREE! You can
discontinue it at any time as well.
